(More customer reviews)These cleats came with my new shimano pedals, and I have to say they are wonderful. These have "multi-directional" release, meaning that you can literally twist your heel any which way and they release for you. I have never had a problem releasing quickly, even for a quick, unexpected stop, and have never had any of those infamous falls not being able to release in time, because these allow for such fast, easy release. You really don't have to think about it at all, just twist your foot right off. In addition, they don't release unexpectedly when you don't want them to like going up hill. Great cleats for spd compatible pedals!
