(More customer reviews)This bike was a gift for my husband which I purchased last year. A BIG upgrade from his old, clunky and HEAVY, Huffy bike. It was a good price for what he wanted in bike without spending a lot more for a notable name brand bike. We are occaional trailblazers, meaning we take the bike out every so often and hit the trails in local parks. Since the bike was a gift, I decided to assemble the bike myself and present it to my husband when it was complete. I have to say the bike was already about 8o% assembled. It wasn't that hard to follow the directions that were included. I think the trickiest parts were getting the brakes on the bike. Since it had some small screws, I ended up braking one of the bike brakes. I immediately call the customer service number and e-mailed them. I explain how I tried to assemble and install the bike brake and they were so helpful in getting back to me. They ended up reimbursing me for the cost of the damaged part. They were very helpful and didn't give me hard time. The whole process was not stressful at all. I ended up bringing the bike to the local bike shop to get a replacement brake and service on it and make sure that everything was installed correctly. (The last thing I want to find out is that I installed it incorrectly and something falls off while my husbands ride his new bike--I didn't!) All in all, my husband was very happy with his new Bike. He loves the light weight of it! It handles nicely and rides really nice. Overall, I think it was a gift he enjoyed and will continue to enjoy.
