(More customer reviews)I owned platform pedals when I first got my mountain bike...then I got clipless pedals which I love, but kids came along and now want to go ride bikes together. These pedals were the answer for me! I can clip in (on either side)when I'm excercising or riding technical track or hop on with the kids with my sandals for a joy ride. Oh...another thing is when you're approaching a part of the trail where you know you might stumble, you can clip out beforehand and still pedal comfortably on the platform so you can put that outrigger foot down quickly!
