(More customer reviews)I bought these to replace the Shimano shifters on my 12 year old Specialized Hardrock mountain bike. They work just as advertised with my Shimano Deore LX rear derailleur, and they'll work with any front deraileur. The thumb-only shifting takes a little getting used to, but they shift precisely and seem well made. Can't speak to the ease of installation as my bike shop put them on.
I'm a happy guy now what my bike works again.
