(More customer reviews)Switched to Rocket Rons from a Specialized S-works "The Cap'n" tire on my Epic. The Rons from Schwalbe instill plenty of confidence when on the trails. I can ride much faster on rougher terrain with much more ease. There's still an element of surprise when you hit a thick patch of pine straw, but I've yet to find a tire that can handle that situation effortlessly.
I ride Schwalbe tires on all my bikes... road, mountain and hybrid. Some of the best tires in the business.
