(More customer reviews)I bought these as a lower cost option to big name-high dollar MTB shorts. Mistake!.... Sometimes it is better to pay more for the real deal.
While the construction of these shorts is not bad they have design flaws which make them almost unusable. The biggie is the liner and "Liquicell" padding. Marketing crap! They are trying to make you believe this is some sort of magical gel type liner... it's not. Just a thin layer of dense foam. I could live with this, but at least for me, the entire pad tends to drift forward while riding until I find myself with a big lump of pad under the nads, and none back under the sit bones where it is needed... Uncomfortable would be a charitable characterization....
The outer shell is not too bad though I would prefer an actual fly front, these look like fly front but are actually slip on like a pair of gym shorts. They do have an integral belt to cinch them up to your waist size.
Spend the extra money on a quality pair of MTB shorts.
I'm going to cut the lining out these and use the shell over a pair of padded road shorts........
