I bought bought the front and rear shifters and both work great and came with the shift cables. The only thing was that it took about 10 days for them to mail them to me. Other than that good so far.

Shimano Tourney 7Spd 14-28T Freewheel Review

Shimano Tourney 7Spd 14-28T Freewheel
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this freewheel to replace a freewheel of another brand that the internal parts are going bad. The product is packaged in a Shimano freewheel box and dosnt look bootleg but when compared the same freewheel on other bicycles the 7th gear was stamped bad. looks like Shimano has lost a quality control with their replacement parts department. Not worth sending back it will have to work.

This is a low quality shifter. Although it was a match for an old mtn. bike. It was exactly what I needed.

Black Cycling Mountain Bike Bicycle Brake Levers 1 Pair Review

Black Cycling Mountain Bike Bicycle Brake Levers 1 Pair
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Yes, I know these are cheap levers. That's why I decided to order them, just to check out what these levers were like. And they took about a week to arrive, but that was what was reported and seeing these came from overseas, I was impressed they arrived that quickly. What are they? Well, a cheap set of left and right mtn bike brake levers. They are not long-sized, but mid-sized. Some might call this a 3-finger lever. The stand-off or reach away from the handlebar is standard, but maybe 4-5mm closer than a set of full-sized shimano brake levers.
The things I liked about these levers:
- size: not too long a set of levers
- reach: not to wide of a stand-off from the handlebar
- shape: the lever bends nicely so the fit is good for a lot of hand sizes.
- feel: snappy return spring makes for crisp braking feel initially
- inside diameter: fits standard 7/8inch OD bars
The things I didn't like so much:
- cast aluminum levers had high porosity and poor finish; could break with light impacts
- No reach adjustment screws, so you can't make the reach closer for kids hands.
- Philips screwdriver to tighten - not 5mm allen, and nuts on the underside of lever may fall off during use - and you'll lose them forever
- brake cable tension adjustment barrel is weak, and poorly made, likely to strip or break
- plastic resin clamp/main body, can't hold position or lever play adjustment, and so the levers must wobble more and more with time and the crisp feel turns mushy.
Why such a low score? Because there aren't too many requirements by real cyclists for brake levers except to be reliable and bring us to a safe stop. But the quality and design of these levers are such that the brake lever can't keep a smooth, tight crisp setting without loctiting or epoxy. The nuts will move and loosen and might even fall out over time. In addition, the barrel adjusters to increase tension on the brake cable are also the same as the super-cheap, prone-to-breaking ones you find on most dept. store bikes. For just $3 more, you can get a set of tektro levers (which I also bought) and they are far superior to these.
These were cheap levers, so I didn't expect much. But because these are a safety component on the bike, I can't recommend them. In a pinch, I would put them on and use them, and I might actually get by. But I would switch them out with something better as soon as I could. Safety first.

SRAM PG730 7 Speed Cassette (12-32T) Review

SRAM PG730 7 Speed Cassette (12-32T)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Just replaced my SRAM 7 speed cassette (this model) with the same part and it was easy to install on my mountain bike. The old one wore out after about 1300 miles due to my own fault - letting the chain collect dirt, not keeping the chain clean, the chain wearing out and wearing out my cassette. The nice thing about this cassette is the price. Can't beat it for money you can't beat it.

SRAM X.9 Rear Bicycle Derailleur Review

SRAM X.9 Rear Bicycle Derailleur
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have this derailleur on four different bikes and I have had no problems whatsoever. I use a long cage when running 3 chainrings and a mid cage with one or two chainrings. Once you set it up and adjust it....you're done. Very minimal maintenance, durable, and consistent shifting.

SRAM Attack Mountain Bike Shifter Set (8-Speed, Shimano) Review

SRAM Attack Mountain Bike Shifter Set (8-Speed, Shimano)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I bought these to replace the Shimano shifters on my 12 year old Specialized Hardrock mountain bike. They work just as advertised with my Shimano Deore LX rear derailleur, and they'll work with any front deraileur. The thumb-only shifting takes a little getting used to, but they shift precisely and seem well made. Can't speak to the ease of installation as my bike shop put them on.
I'm a happy guy now what my bike works again.

SRAM has always worked well with my Shimano components. The best part of all is Power Link for disassembly and cleaning when the chain gets grungy.

SRAM TRX Mountain Bike Trigger Shifter Set (7-Speed) Review

SRAM TRX Mountain Bike Trigger Shifter Set (7-Speed)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I chose these shifters because I have always liked SRAMs line of shifters, but I prefer the rest of my drivetrain to be Shimano. Most SRAM shifters are not compatible with Shimano rear derailleurs because they use a different pull ratio.
SRAM took care of that problem with the TRX triggers, These shifters bolted right up, and I had no issues running them with my Shimano Alivio derailleurs. The TRX trigger shifters are not top of the line by any means, but for the price I think they are a great way to introduce yourself to the world of trigger shifters. They are of good quality and I expect them to last me a long time

Sram 3.0 Comp Twister Mountain Bike Shifter Set Review

Sram 3.0 Comp Twister Mountain Bike Shifter Set
Average Reviews:

i got these as replacements to my old grip shifters and good thing i did. installation was easy, specially because the cables came already attached to the shifters. it also came with rubber grips which made my bike look sort of newer again.
after a few adjustments to the derailleurs i was good to go. shifts are quick and I'm never in the wrong gear anymore.
