(More customer reviews)This is not a bad rack. It's light and seems to be well made. Nevertheless, it annoys me when vendors claim a "universal" ability to mount on any bike. Out of the box, no way will this work on my frame, which happens to be a Gary Fisher Mendota. To make this thing work, I need to make a trip to the hardware store to buy some aluminum straps in order to fabricate the necessary bracket extensions. Had the packaged connectors been about 4 inches longer it might have worked.

I screwed them into a 2x4 to put in the bed of my pickup truck and they work just great. I was surprised at the workmanship quality of this sturdy fork mount. Highly recommend the product.

(More customer reviews)I searched all over looking for a good but cheap rack, you cannot beat this product for the price and how well it's built. It has a little hidden tray for a wallet or something, comes with reflector and you can remove it and it's ready to recieve blinking lights,clip ons. Perfect for running to the store, comes with two adjustable rubber straps. Had it on in minutes, comes with different size rubber shims to fit seat post size if you need them and best of all it doubles as a fender and keeps the water from shooting on me. I have 26 inch wheels and I finished it off by getting the little extended fender that Topeak makes for it. (MTX DeFender Bicycle Fender-$5.00) The threaded holes are already in the rack and with the 2 screws that came with the fender, had it on. It sticks out past the rack another 5 inches and total length, Rack and fender from the center of the seat post is 23 1/4 inches. I am very happy with it and it really looks good.

Delta Cycle Bike Hitch Lockable Review

(More customer reviews)I bough two of these new Delta fork mounts for my wife's Xterra (I built my own interior rack using an L-shaped piece of sheet-metal, and attached these mounts).
Pros: In the previous Delta fork mount, getting the arm lined up for the locking position took several tries, but now the new design just goes right into place.
Cons: Once the lever arm is closed, you really have to work your fingers or possibly a tool into the gap to open it. In the end, this is for the best as you don't want this thing opening up without some force.
Summary: Use these to make your own bike rack using 2X6 planks in the back of your truck, or go to the hardware store and get creative with your SUV.....

Topeak Super Tourist Tubular Bicycle Trunk Rack DX with Side Bar for Disc Brake Bikes Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased this rack about 4 months ago. It arrived earlier than expected and it good condition. All of the parts necessary for installation were included. There were also a couple of extra screws as spares.
I installed it on a TREK 4300. While I don't have disk brakes on the bike, it does have the brackets pre-installed to accept them, so I decided to get the DX type rack so that I could install the discs later.
The installation took less than 10 minutes and went flawlessly. The rack has a nice semi-gloss black finish but the brackets that attach it to the seat tube are silver, so I decided to paint them black as well using a satin black epoxy spray paint that matched perfectly.
The rack is very light weight but is also very sturdy. I haven't gotten a bag for it yet, but Topeak makes bags that will slide into the rack and then lock into place.
I would highly recommend this rack to anyone that has a frame predrilled to accept this sort of accessory.

It also hace a special atach point for your RED BACK LIGHTA very very helpfull accesory for your bike when you travel
PAY ATENTION if you need it For DISC BRAKES BIKE or NOT, there is a diference in the way you atach it to the bike and also in the PRICE There are two models, almost exactly the same
