(More customer reviews)I chose these shifters because I have always liked SRAMs line of shifters, but I prefer the rest of my drivetrain to be Shimano. Most SRAM shifters are not compatible with Shimano rear derailleurs because they use a different pull ratio.
SRAM took care of that problem with the TRX triggers, These shifters bolted right up, and I had no issues running them with my Shimano Alivio derailleurs. The TRX trigger shifters are not top of the line by any means, but for the price I think they are a great way to introduce yourself to the world of trigger shifters. They are of good quality and I expect them to last me a long time
