(More customer reviews)These look pretty good on a black and silver bike. So far they have been durable and my bike gets heavily used in New York City. I've accidentally stomped the front fender several times and it's still hanging in there. Some mechanical abilities and familiarity with bicycles will be necessary to attach these fenders. Although they are universal and will probably attach to any mountain bike, you will probably need to use your brain to figure out the best way to attach them. The bag of screws and bolts that came with the fenders seemed to be mostly random and I had to stop by my local bike shop for some pieces but nothing more than a dollar of nuts and bolts and some smiles. With the right bits for your bike these fenders will securely attach.
One thing to pay attention to is the size of your tires. My big, fat, extra-knobby tires were just too big to fit under the fenders, so I put on my less knobby road tires. I also had to readjust my brakes to accommodate the fenders.
The bottom line is that these fenders are best for knowledgeable bicycle commuters with access to bike parts and tools and a desire to tinker.
