Note: The shipping took a VERY long time. They weren't even shipped until 7 days after I bought them. That was a bit frustrating since it wasn't free shipping.

Lizard Skins Bar End Grip Black Cut to Fit Review

(More customer reviews)Not sure what the other reviewer was talking about but these are fine for what they are. Basically, they are to prevent touching metal, and they do that well. Installed on bar ends without having to cut them and albeit a pain to install they are holding great and BTW look good. Then installation instructions said to use hairspray or some tacky glue to install.... but that is in no way possible as they need to be pulled on to the bar ends and with either of those (hairspray/glue) it would be impossible to pull on. Installed with three drops of dish-washing soap, 3 at both ends of the grip (foam pad) and slid them on. Squeezed out the excess soap, and waited 24 hours before use.
No spinning and does what they are designed for...

Titec L-bends Review

(More customer reviews)I've had these mounted on my flat-handlebar hybrid, used for 12 miles/weekday of commuting, for about 6 months. They do the job perfectly. Never slipped (and I never tightened them after the initial) mounting, comfortable grip, don't get in the way of the brake levers, and provide several comfortable alternative grips. The surface is metal, so once the weather gets cold, you don't want to grab these without gloves (or, I suppose, handlebar tape), but that's to be expected. And, at $[...], the price is certainly right.

Avenir 200 Series Flat Mountain Handlebars, Black, 600mm wide Review

(More customer reviews)These things are great! I can't see how anyone can complain about them, it's just a single piece of metal pipe. They perform the job well for an upgrade or a brand new build. I've bought two: one to upgrade a friend's crappy quill stem Trek bike; I also had to purchase the Avenir 200 stem as well (and a new fork since it was a quill stem threaded, and the 2nd one was purchased for making a new single speed bike for another friend. Of all the things you can cheap out on when building a bike, I feel that handlebars would be at the top of that list. There really is no performance increase in buying a more expensive brand name carbon fiber handle bar. This thing is light as a feather with an Aluminum construction so it sure beats an alloy bar in terms of weight. Scouring eBay.com I would only find cheap alloy "riser" bars at this price range. Buy, install, and be happy :).
