(More customer reviews)I got a good deal on these shorts and they are going to get a lot of use. They come with an inner padded short as well as the outer (pictured) short. I have worn the inner shorts to spin class underneath of other shorts and they are fine. I would prefer that the padding went a little higher in the rear. The outer shorts look nice and are about knee length. They also have some stretch in them but they fit a little tighter than I would normally wear shorts. I normally wear a 32 or 33 but the 34's fit me much better. I like the style enough that i will wear them walking around without the liner. The "campus mountain bike short" seems to indicate that one could ride to school and then wear them at school then ride home. Maybe it's just me but I'm not crazy about the extra (and somewhat stiff) padding on my boys when I'm simply walking around, so I'll leave the liner at home if i plan to do much walking. Still, the stretchy material, the look, the dual use of the two shorts, make these a nice choice for the money.
